This project was my first experience abroad. I was very happy to participate in the Erasmus project. I did preparations before the project. We prepared a presentation on the project topic. I tried to improve my English. I researched Latvian culture. I learned about Polish culture to communicate with my friends from Poland.
Riga is a wonderful city for the Erasmus experience. It means a lot to me because it was my first trip abroad. I believe I have gained more self-confidence thanks to this project. Latvia is a very beautiful country. I tried traditional Latvian cuisine and really enjoyed it. There are many cafes, parks, and social places where you can spend your free time. The museums in Riga are very interesting. The people were friendly and helpful.
During our 5 days in Latvia, we did activities. We toured the city of Riga, visited two different museums and the city library. The place that impressed me the most was the natural history museum. I would have liked to have closer contact with my Polish and Latvian friends. I would have liked to have dinners or do activities together. But I was still happy.
Erasmus changed my perspective on life. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to participate in this project.
